Thotakura/ Totakura pulusu



Ingredients:

collard greens(Thotakura) 1 thick
mustard seeds 1tsp
cumin seeds 1tsp
fenugreek seeds 1/2tsp
urad dal 1tsp
asafoetida 2 pinches
jaggery 4tbsps
salt to taste
tamarind juice 1tbsp
oil 1tbsp

Method of preparation:

remove the stem and wash the leaves thoroughly and chop them.
Heat oil, add all the ingredients along with sufficient amount of water except the greens and bring to boil.
Now add the greens and boil till cooked.
